When your puppy is three months old, there is a feeling of playing catch-up in terms of socialization and being confident with other dog’s. Your pup should start dog training classes before the 18th week mark of when he was born. At the four and a half month mark is an important time in your dog’s development. This is where he changes from puppy to  like a ten or eleven year old of a human if you will. This is where you will want him to become enrolled in dog training classes before he collides in adolescence age.

Dog training classes will allow your dog to develop sharp socialization skills with other dogs. Play sessions are very important. Play time is very important to your dog because it allows them to build a lot of confidence in themselves, so that later on as a socialized adult dog, he would rather play then fight other dogs, especially ones bigger than him. Your dog may seem sociable with your other dog in the house, but your jaw will drop when it goes out alone. You will see that your dog is not socialized at all. Instead he will likely run and hide, put his tail under him and cry. The reason is because he has never really been with other dogs and it creates anxiety in him.
